Versace says the problem is Trend Nova’s use of its black and gold Barocco design, Pop Hearts design, and Jungle Print design. Versace copyrighted all three prints, however they’ve been manufactured and bought by Trend Nova. “Trend Nova’s means to churn out new clothes so rapidly is due largely to its willingness to repeat the copyrighted designs, emblems and commerce gown parts of well-known designers similar to Versace, and commerce on their artistic efforts in an effort to bolster Trend Nova’s backside line,” the lawsuit reads, in accordance with the Hollywood Reporter.
